Was really enthused after reading all the reviews. Bought the book, made chart to keep track of foods and fiber eaten daily. Ate 40 or more grams of fiber every day but one, that was 37 , was full with that amount. Kept up my daily bike ride and even increased time. Increased water to 6 8oz glasses a day. Wife out town for a week,which increased my ability to follow diet. Even joined the web site which increased my knowledge of how diet works and recipe's. After one full week,increased my weight by 5.5 pounds.I had set my goal of losing 5 pounds, missed that by 10.5 pounds. Wow! Lot of increases for no decrease, just another increase.

A very colorful, easy-to-read book with lots of pictures about the benefits of eating fiber and what foods have the most. The college where I work gave a copy to all of its employees, and my mother was so impressed with it that we ordered two more copies (for her and my sister).

I bought this book in anticipation to find a regular diet plan which I could follow on a daily basis. We are already incorporating the foods mentioned in the book, but were a little disappointed when we discovered that there was no systematic plan one might follow on a daily basis in order to achieve the goal promised by the title.

Very well written book, which gives you information on healthier eating and cooking, without ever being hungry. Recommend all the info made available in this book.

was looking for some new info but it really has some of the same basic stuff you always read regarding dieting...the book pushes fiber thats the only difference...it's a nice book but save your money
